So my lil blonde self did the first box without looking at the book first to see the instructions. Thus my second submission to the Tim Holtz Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge at cc3challenge.com

I made this box as part of #cc3c #24 challenge from the latest book by Tim Holtz

Shameless plug for Distress Stains.  I made a storage box for them. BUT alas, I only have 8, 7 if you don’t include Tarnished Brass as a color. The box can hold 20. hint hint wink wink nudge nudge to my huz that I need to buy more colors! 😉

Mandy…this box is amazing! I love every inch of it. Love your colors that you’ve blended and used in all of your backgrounds. The black remnant rub resist technique looks amazing on each panel. Beautifully crafted! The legs on the bottom of the box really complete this perfectly! Thanks for sharing with all of us at CC3C. ❤ Candy

Excellent box! I like the twist that you used the stuff the box was meant to hold to decorate it. Nice use of color and texture! That box looks very sturdy too. I’m sure you will have it filled in no time! 😉

Haha! I did indeed. I really enjoyed making this and was surprised at all the positive feedback. Hope it inspires you to make a box. It’s easier than you could imagine when you break it down.
