Since I’ve not seen this done, I wanted to make a spine using my framework die.
I didn’t believe the paper to be thick enough for a proper spine, so I reinforced it with acetate.
Like magic, here’s the project almost done:
It needed a little shimmer…
Here’s the finished project:
Mandy…this is so lovely. What a very innovative and creative idea to use the frameworks die cut at a spine for such a lovely little card. You were so smart to reinforce it with acetate because I am sure this will be opened ALOT and would have really stressed the fold on just the paper. What a lovely use of Tim’s frameworks on the body of the card as well. This is truly a lovely piece. I love how you’ve filled in some of the spaces on the frameworks and then used other die cut centers throughout your piece. Your dimensional girls you’ve added to the interior pages are so sweet. What lovely paper!! I also love your flourishes and your tattered garland flowers. A lovely project. Thanks for sharing with us at CC3C. ❤ Candy
Thank you Candy! Such a wonderfully worded comment. Made me smile from ear to ear!!

I just love the way you used die as a book binding. So very clever! Great work on the rest of your album too…
Thank you! I haven’t seen it done and thought it turned out pretty cool. Going to try it on a smaller card.
